In the four months that I have been at UGArden, I have learned and participated in so many new things. Overall, I’ve had the opportunity to learn about all the aspects of organic growing, such as planting, fertilizing, harvesting, watering, and so much more. One of the biggest things this internship has left me with is the ability to get out of my comfort zone, and become comfortable doing things that I previously was not. My favorite part of this experience was learning to use the tractor, and more specifically, using the tractor to thrash mow and scoop up buckets of sand. All in all, I’m glad I was able to do this internship and I will be leaving with a lot of new skills and knowledge.

Ethan will graduate in the spring with a degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics. Good luck, Ethan!
